Flowers are a perishable item and have quite a short lifespan however you can expect for our fresh flowers to stay nice and fresh for a minimum of a week.
Each bouquet we send out will include a care card to ensure the recipient receives the maximum lifespan from their gift.
Stems should be recut every 2-3 days to clear any blockages which would prevent the flower from receiving water.
The water should be changed and vase cleaned every 2-3 days to reduce bacteria. We also provide preservative in sachets to add to the water to increase the life span.
Fresh flowers should be placed in a cool area and not in direct sunlight. Avoid placing flowers near direct heating or cooling such as near a fireplace, above a central heating vent or underneath a split system.
By following these instructions you will get to enjoy your flowers for many days.
We are closed on all Public Holidays - If you place an order for a public holiday, we will contact you and offer a refund or delivery of your order the next business day.
GST (Goods & Services Tax)
All prices quoted include GST for orders placed within Australia.
To guarantee same day delivery, we request that you place your order by 1pm AEST..
If you need your flowers delivered on the same day but it is after 1pm, just give us a quick buzz and we will let you know if we are still able to deliver your blooms!
All flowers and gifts are delivered with utmost care.
Delivery charges are determined according to km radius from our studio, delivery costs will be added to your order before processing.
If there is no one at the delivery address to receive the product, the product will be left in a safe, weather protected spot at the delivery address specified as we see fit.
If the incorrect delivery details are provided or we are unable to gain access to the property due to locked gates or barking dogs, we may need to return the product to our studio and contact you to arrange re-delivery which may incur a re-delivery fee.
All order are delivered between 9:30am and 5pm unless arrange otherwise so please let us know If you would like your flowers delivered by a certain time. We do endeavour to get all of our deliveries out and to their flower lovers promptly!
The images of flowers to order presented online reflect a particular time and season.
Although we will endeavour to create arrangements that closely resemble your selection, please allow for changes in availability and seasons.
Please take the time to read our descriptions as some images are an example of what you may receive as it is a florist choice design
We will substitute flowers with similar blooms to best reflect the style of the image displayed or colour selection you have chosen.

All selected arrangements are made with love and inclusive of a Petal Press gift card, gift wrapping, and GST.
Purchase of Alcohol
To purchase alcohol as an add on product you must be over 18 years of age. The receiver must also be over 18 years of age.
It is a legal requirement that we ask for photo ID when delivering alcohol. If the recipient is not home we cannot leave alcohol unattended, the product will be returned to our studio and a re-delivery fee may apply.
Goods Return Policy
If you deem the product to be faulty we will happily replace your good/s or refund your money subject to the following:
1. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org advising us of your concerns in relation to the good/s within 48 hours of receiving the good/s.
2. Good/s will NOT be refunded where there has been a change of mind, or after the 48hr period.
3. The good/s need to be returned back to The Petal Press Co within 48 hours of The Petal Press Co accepting the return of the goods,
5. Once we have received the good/s and are satisfied with your concerns we will either replace the good/s or issue a refund for the purchase price of the applicable item and the original freight that we charged within 7 days of receiving the returned good/s.
We will always work with you to rectify a problem, so please be kind- We make and deliver all of our blooms with love, however please remember we are also all human!- and we are dealing with fresh product!
